Career
Born and raised in England, David began his football career at Chesterfield, where he signed his first professional contract in 2010. On leaving Chesterfield, he found a new home at Burnley signing a three years contract. Before ending his contract at Club Burnley, he found a better opportunity at Nottingham Forest in mid-2017 where he scored his first goal in an EFL Cup against Chelsea, in a draw.
In 2021, he moved to Club Wigan Athletic on a short-term contract till the end of the season. Mid of the same year, he now signed a two years contract scoring his first goal for the club in a match against Charlton Athletic emerging winners.
He also played for his native country Zimbabwe in 2017, in a friendly match that saw a defeat to Lesotho.
