Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has reportedly received a huge offer to join a Saudi Arabian club this summer.

Real Madrid are aware of the offer and a source reveals that Benzema has already made a decision on his future. However, it is yet to be known whether he has rejected or accepted the deal.

The France international, who is 35, is still under contract with Real Madrid until the end of next season. However, it is understood that the Los Blancos are willing to let him go if he accepts the offer that he has received from the Saudi club.

According to Spanish outlet AS, the contract offered to Karim Benzema is in excess of €400 million (£346m/$439m) over two seasons.

The deal would also involve Benzema being an ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s FIFA World Cup bid in future. However, he would earn more if if he takes up the ambassadorial role for the competition which will be jointly held with Turkey and Greece.

Karim Benzema who won the 2022 Ballon d’Or award remains a key player for Real Madrid. The Frenchman has so far scored 18 goals in 23 La Liga matches this season. With one more game before the 2022-23 La Liga season comes to an end, only Robert Lewandowski has netted more than him.

Benzema may miss Real Madrid’s final game of the season when they host Athletic Bilbao this coming Sunday. He recently received five stitches to his right foot following an injury he suffered during Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano.

It remains to be seen if Karim Benzema has already played his last game for Real Madrid or he will be there in the pursuit for another Champions League title next season.

Well, Karim Benzema is not the only big name that is wanted in Saudi Arabia this summer. According to Goal.com, Lionel Messi and his former FC Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have also been linked with moves to the middle east.

Lionel Messi’s offer is thought to be worth around €500 million (£435/$541). Earlier this month, there were rumours that Messi had signed the contract. However, his father strenuously denied the reports.

“There is absolutely nothing with anyone for next year. The decision will never be made before Lionel finishes the league with PSG. Once the season is over it will be time to analyse and see what is there, and then make a decision. There are always rumours and many use the name of Lionel to gain notoriety but the truth is only one and we can assure you that there is nothing with anyone.
