A legal suit by Charlotte Powdrell Israel to get half of what UFC is dumbfounding. But what does the law in New Zealand state? According to Property Relationships Act (PRA) by the New Zealand Law Society, there are grounds in which Powdrell could get a part of Adesanya’s wealth.
It states: “The PRA applies automatically to all married and civil union couples and those who have been living together in a de facto situation for a minimum of three years, whether they are of the same or opposite s3x.”
“It applies to relationships that end after 1 February 2002 even if they began before that date. It applies whether a relationship ends through separation or death – and it can override the provisions of a deceased partner’s will.”
Based on this law, Powdrell could earn half of Adesanya’s wealth through the following.

If she invested in any property together with her ex-boyfriend
Adduce a legally binding argument of compensation in case of separation or breakup
Provide irrefutable proof that she contributed to Adesanya’s wealth
Prove that the breakup left her in a bad place financially
Prove she helped Adesanya build his career
If she incurred debt while in the relationship
The evidence she helped Adesanya increase his asset value
If Adesanya enters into a contractual agreement with her
