Sydney Carter coach outfit fame isn’t one without its low moments. The Texas A&M coach rocked the internet in February 2022 following viral photos of her dressing on game day. She donned stunningly beautiful ankle-length, bubblegum-pink leather leggings with heels and looked dapper.

However, quarters criticized her outfit for apparently no justified reason because she looked decent enough. In fact, the pink leather legging hugged her entire lower body and showed her curvy body, which rubbed some people the wrong way.
This attracted what she terms as sexist remarks and unjustifiable criticism which went viral on the internet. Unfortunately, she had no apology to make for being herself and doing what she loves in her style. She posted on her Instagram page:
“You hear so many times that people don’t want to watch women play basketball, because there’s too many that look manly, or they play like a guy or don’t play enough like guys…. Women can never satisfy anybody in any aspect of life.”
“I’m not gonna…turn my light off because somebody else is offended or intimidated by the fact that I embrace myself. I wasn’t trying to kick down any barriers. At the end of the day, I wasn’t trying to set a trend. I just wanted to be myself,” she unapologetically hit back.
HOW OLD IS SYDNEY CARTER?
The Texas-born native is 32 years old. She was born and raised in Texas, US and established a glowing WNBA career here. Playing collegiate basketball for Texas A&M University eventually shaped today’s Sydney Carter coach outfit love in and out of NBA circles.
In her basketball legacy, Carter was a three-time team captain and a powerful defensive anchor for the A&M team. Her defence style landed her a place in the varsity’s Big 12 All-Defensive Team in the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 seasons. Carter scooped the Miss Defense Award in 2010, 2011 and 2012 for Texas A&M.

Two years later, the Texas native earned a promotion to the Texas A&M Women’s Basketball team director of player development. It is this role that spurred Sydney Carter coach outfit trend to fame. She always graces the court looking dazzling and trendy.
Surprisingly, the Chicago Sky selected Carter in the third round of the 2012 WNBA Draft (28th overall). She played for one season and moved to the Atlanta Dream in 2013 for training camp. The fashionista coach left before the season’s end and joined the Connecticut Sun the same year.
Carter ventured abroad in 2014 where she played for Latvia in the 2014-2015 season. Her defense secured the team victory in the Latvian/Estonian Championship three times; in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Latvia, also won the Eastern European League championship in 2016.
Israel welcomed briefly in 2017 where her WNBA career as a player ended after sustaining a meniscus injury in 2018.
