The four major grand slams and a line of Masters 1000 and Masters 500 events decorate the ATP Tour and WTA calendars but there is also the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2023.

A Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo is up for grabs by the tournament’s winner. One of the top WTA players to play in Stuttgart include British tennis player Emma Raducanu who doubles up as a brand ambassador for Porsche.

Although the tour is demanding, Raducanu always finds time to play in this tournament and is excited to do so as a brand ambassador.

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2023 is an all-women’s tournament sanctioned under Masters 500 in the WTA calendar.  The tournament will enter its 45th edition this year.

It starts on April 17 and ends on April 23 and it will be held at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany on an indoor clay court.

Raducanu is optimistic that she will go back home with this new gift after winning the tournament.

The 20-year-old British player has driven the Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo before and she is upbeat she will enjoy its rides even more.

“I’ve been lucky enough to drive one on a few occasions and it’s a very smooth drive and tremendous acceleration,” she said according to Tennis 365.

With the Turbo S Sport Turismo, Porsche produced a powerful electric vehicle with amazing E-mobility which the car manufacturer is looking at.

Playing at Porsche Arena in Stuttgart creates a beautiful atmosphere which will help the players perform at their peak levels.

Raducanu has undoubtedly enjoyed her time as a Porsche Brand Ambassador and appreciates the manufacturer’s sponsorship.

She admits as much noting that Porsche has done an excellent job of supporting her off-court objectives.

Through the vehicle manufacturer, Raducanu has enjoyed developing her driving skills thanks to the driving curriculum in place which includes track sessions with more sophisticated automobiles.

While she loves tennis, she is glad that she is also learning a few things about automobile engineering and loves testing new Porsche brands entering the market.

“The goal is to keep progressing and who knows what opportunities it might lead to. I love testing new cars and learning about the engineering side of the industry as well,” she remarks.

Raducanu is eager to get things moving in her role as a brand ambassador and she hopes that she will do so with Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2023.

Porsche is already a dominant force in Formula E and she views her love for cars as an option she could always explore should she quit tennis.

Details of her sponsorship by Porsche remain scanty but it is worth a lot of money. The Brit enjoys eased up the accessibility to any Porsche brand she wishes to drive.

Her fans are waiting to see how she fares in Stuttgart following a not-so-impressive season so far.
