Big Show began his wrestling career in 1994 after a chance encounter with Hulk Hogan while working as a bouncer. Hulk recommended him to WCW and after a meeting with Ric Flair, he debuted in 1995 at Slamboree using the ring name The Giant. He billed as Andre The Giant‘s son.
Big Show left WCW in early 1999 to join WWF (now WWE). He became a regular fixture at the WWF and WWE Raw brand and had exciting feuds with other top wrestlers. Between WCW and WWF/WWE, the big man has held a total of 23 championships.
