- Manchester United are interested in bringing on board Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane
- Erik ten Hag is keen on signing the England captain this summer in a bid to strengthen his attack
- Kane’s current contract at Tottenham Hotspur is set to expire at the end of next season
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly the top target for Manchester United when it comes to improving their attacking options at the conclusion of the season.
Kane, who is 29 years old, is currently third on the all-time goals list in the Premier League and has already cemented his reputation as one of the best strikers to ever play the sport. He is also tied for the most goals ever scored for England and holds the mark for the most goals ever scored for Tottenham (268). (53).
Tottenham are on track to go 15 seasons in a row without winning a trophy, and with their chances of competing in the Champions League next season hanging in the balance, they may have run out of time to convince their star striker to remain.
Erik ten Hag has designated Kane as his main objective, per the Manchester Evening News.

According to the report, they are still interested in Goncalo Ramos of Benfica and Victor Osimhen of Napoli, but Kane is their best choice if they are successful.
With only one season left on his deal, Kane will probably get his wish to leave if he chooses he won’t sign a new one. If the club decides to hold onto him past the next transfer deadline, they run the risk of losing him for up to £100 million.
However, just because Tottenham might sell him does not guarantee that he will end up at Old Trafford, as Bayern Munich’s desire is still strong.
