Stephanie posted her resignation on Twitter to her over three million followers. Nick Khan is now the sole CEO of WWE.

Stephanie’s husband, Triple H, has firmly retained his position as the person driving WWE’s weekly TV storylines.

In her statement, Stephanie is confident that WWE is in the perfect place to continue providing creative content to the fans.

She is looking forward to supporting WWE content as a pure fan.

“With Nick’s leadership and Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque as chief content officer, I am confident WWE is in the perfect place to continue to provide unparalleled creative content and drive maximum value for shareholders. Part of Stephanie McMahon’s statement on Twitter reads.

“WWE is in such a strong position that I have decided to return to my leave and take it one step further with my official resignation. I look forward to cheering on WWE from the other side of the business, where I started when I was a little kid, as a pure fan.” She added.

Vince McMahon made a statement saying that he fully supports Stephanie’s decision and is grateful for the work she did while he was away.

Vince recognized Stephanie as the person who has always been the ultimate ambassador of WWE.

Stephanie McMahon was a longtime staple of WWE and appeared as an on-screen authority figure. She took a leave of absence in may but returned three weeks later as the co-CEO in her father’s absence.

And with his return, Stephanie McMahon has resigned.

According to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Vince McMahon has come back to WWE to explore strategic alternatives. The alternatives tend to mean sales.

Immediately after Vince’s return, he removed Jeffrey R Speed, JoEllen Lyons Dillon and Alan M Wexler from the board.

Man Jit Singh and Ignace Lahoud resigned from the board, effective on Friday, as per the WSJ report.

Vince McMahon asked that George Barrios and Michelle Wilson be added to the board. George and Michelle are former WWE co-presidents and board members who are currently co-CEOs of Isos Capital Management.
