Since his arrival, Manchester United has really improved. The players have shown a positive attitude and are doing impressively well on the pitch.

As of now, Erik ten Hag‘s side is the only Premier League team left in four major competitions. A run of 11 wins in 12 games has taken the Red Devils to fourth in the Premier League, Carabao Cup semi-finals and FA Cup fourth round. They are also still in the Europa League, where they are waiting to face FC Barcelona next month.

And there is a big prize waiting for the Dutchman if he guides Manchester United back to the UEFA Champions League.

According to reports, ten Hag will pocket an eye-watering three million euros if Manchester United finish in the top four. The bonus is on top of his salary at Old Trafford.

It is good to note that money is not a factor for the Dutchman since he comes from a rich family. He defied his father’s rules to join business as he had an interest in football.

Erik ten Hag’s father, Hennie, is a successful businessman who owns a real estate company and other financial firms. He wanted his son to be involved in the family business alongside his brothers, Rico and Michel. But Erik made it clear that he had other passions at a very young age.

Rico and Michel are now in charge of their father’s company, which was founded in 1967. Michel is the chairman of the company’s board. He assumed more responsibility at the company after his father stepped back.
