The NBA has suspended eleven players following the Pistons-Magic fight on Wednesday. The Detroit Pistons were playing Orlando Magic when a fight broke out.
The brawl began when Moe Wagner shoved Killian Hayes as they were chasing a loose ball. Before things settled, players from both sides had been involved in the fight, but thankfully no one suffered injuries.

As a result of the Pistons-Magic fight, the NBA has suspended Moe Wagner for two games because he pushed Killian Hayes off the court.
On the other hand, Killian Hayes has received a two-match ban for retaliating by hitting Moe on the back of his head.
Hamidou Diallo, who shoved Moe Wagner from behind during the brawl, has received a one-match suspension. Other eight players also received a one-match ban for taking part in the fight.
They are forwards Franz Wagner and Admiral Schofield, guards Gary Harris, RJ Hampton, Kevon Harris and Cole Anthony, and centers Wendell Carter and Mo Bamba.
The eight players mentioned above received a one-match ban for leaving their bench when the fight started. That is not allowed and leads to suspension!
NBA rules clearly state that during an altercation, all players who are not participating in the match should not leave their bench.
The ones who do so will be subjected to suspension, without pay, for a minimum of one game and receive a fine of up to $50,000.
According to BBC, the one-game bans issued to the eight Detroit Magic players will be staggered to ensure the team has eight players for their next two fixtures.
The eleven players suspended by the NBA will also incur costs as a result of the suspension.
According to Bobby Marks, Killian Hayes will be fined $120,781 for retaliating by hitting Moe on the back of his head.

The Pistons-Magic fight
The most notable moment of the Pistons-Magic fight was when Hayes threw a punch in the back of Wagner’s head. This made the big man stumble a bit before other players joined the fight.

The announcer in the arena could be heard pleading with everyone to remain seated during the brawl.
Moe Wagner, Killian Hayes and Hamidou Diallo were all ejected from the match due to their roles in the first.
To be honest, the NBA are just thankful that this fight did not go as far as the infamous ‘Malice in the Palace‘.
The second half of the Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic will feature fewer players than the first due to the brawl that led to suspensions.
