The Red Devils have won 66 trophies as of now. The majority of these trophies were won during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era as the manager.
Since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United have won just three silverware -the Europa League, the League Cup and the FA Cup.
2. Liverpool
Liverpool fall short of Manchester United despite Jurgen Klopp’s successes in recent years. However, they are more dominant on the European stage, having won six UEFA Champions League and three UEFA Cups.
Liverpool boasts 50 major men’s first-team honours.
3. Arsenal
Arsenal have been at the highest level of English football for a very long time. They dominated the league through the 1970s and won a double in the 1970s.
But their best years were during Arsene Wenger’s era as the manager when they won the Premier League unbeaten once.

The Gunners have won 13 Premier League titles, 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, one European Cup Winners’ Cup and 16 FA Community Shields.
4. Chelsea
Chelsea rank fourth on the list of the most successful Premier League teams. The Blues have won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, a UEFA Champions League, two Europa Leagues and three League Cups.
The majority of those trophies have been won in the 21st century.
5. Manchester City
Despite being the most successful Premier League team in recent years, Manchester City are still far in terms of trophies. They still have a long way to go to achieve the same success as their neighbours, Manchester United.
The Cytizens have eight league titles, eight League Cups, six FA Cups, six FA Community Shields and one European Cup.

6. Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur is one of the teams which have struggled in this Premier League era. Spurs last won a League Cup in 1991.
However, they have won five FA Cups since then to take their tally to eight, having won a cup double in 1961.
7. Aston Villa
Aston Villa, one of the five English clubs to win the European Cup, boasts seven league titles and five League Cups.
The Birmingham club also has a handful of other trophies won before the 21st century.
8. Everton
Everton, one of the few Premier League teams who have never been relegated, have had numerous opportunities to compete for trophies.
They have only managed to win 24 trophies over the years.
9. Newcastle United
Newcastle United have not won any silverware since the 1950s. However, their 14 trophies make them rank as the ninth most successful Premier League team.
10. Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest received promotion to the English Premier League at the end of the 2021-22 season.
Well, it might surprise many football fans that Forest are among the most successful Premier League teams despite winning their last major silverware in 1990.
They have not enjoyed success in recent years but were iconic in the 20th century. The majority of their triumph days were in the 1970s during Brian Clough’s era.
Nottingham Forest won the League Cup in 1978 and 1979. They were also back-to-back European Cup champions.
