2022 has been a wild year for WWE fans as they have witnessed epic matches, controversies and some of the best feuds.
Since Triple H took over creative duties in WWE when Vince McMahon stepped down, things have been quite different.
Although everything has not been perfect, we have seen impressive storytelling, strong rivalries and amazing highlights.
We have also seen amazing feuds, which we expect some to continue next year. These rivalries have been about championships, while others have been about professional pride.
Nevertheless, they have kept WWE fans tuning in weekly for the past twelve months. Without further ado, let’s discuss the top six best feuds of 2022.
1. Cody Rhodes Vs Seth Rollins

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins‘ rivalry has been intense with a trilogy of incredible matches for the past few months.
The rivalry began early this year when Cody Rhodes returned to WWE as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent at Wrestlemania.
Cody Rhodes won the fight, and the issue soon became personal and intense. Surprisingly, Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins three times this year.
The last match between Rhodes and Seth Rollins was at Hell in a Cell. The feud will likely continue next year as the two WWE superstars are not yet done.
2. Becky Lynch Vs Bianca Belair
Becky Lynch Vs Bianca Belair is arguably one of the best WWE feuds of 2022. The feud has been all about Bianca Belair seeking redemption.
Bianca Belair lost in a squash match to Becky Lynch in 2021 at SummerSlam and has since fought her way up to title contention.
Belair would later overcome Becky to reclaim her Raw Women’s title. But in between, we saw some exciting matches between the two at WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
Their last match was four days ago at SummerSlam, and Bianca successfully defended her title. This feud could continue next year.
3. Seth Rollins Vs Matt Riddle
Well, it is not just Cody Rhodes who Seth Rollins has feuded with this year. Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle have faced each other more than twice this year.
And the feud has interested many WWE fans considering their past real-life heat. The feud between Seth Rollins and Riddle became more heated as months passed, and it will likely continue next year.
Apart from their several meetings at Raw, Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle also fought against each other at Extreme Rules and Clash At The Castle.
4. RK-Bro Vs Alpha Academy
RK-Bro and Alpha Academy made the title race for the Raw Tag Team Championship intense at the start of this year.
Apart from exchanging blows and kicks in the ring, these two teams had extended promo segments which included a Quiz Bowl, a Graduation Ceremony and Scooter Race.
All the promos were entertaining and played a massive role in making RK-Bro Vs Alpha Academy one of the best WWE feuds in 2022.
The matches between the two tag teams were entertaining as they swapped the gold.
5. Sami Zayn Vs Johnny Knoxville
WWE bringing Johnny Knoxville in for a feud with Sami Zayn turned out to be a great crossover which they should be doing on a regular basis.
It was non-stop fun as the feud did not just happen in the ring. The rivalry between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville has been, without a doubt, one of the best WWE feuds of 2022.
Sami and Johnny began feuding at Royal Rumble and went on up to WrestleMania. Johnny Knoxville emerged victorious at WrestleMania 38 after giving the Great Liberator plenty of punishment throughout the contest.
6. Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns
2022 was not the first time Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns met in the ring. This feud has been on for the past few years, and the two wrestlers managed to keep it fresh this year
Brock Lesnar’s new character has been a highlight this year. It brought a new flavour to his feud with Roman Reigns, which we expect to continue in 2023.
