Al Nassr are hopeful as they push to sign Cristiano Ronaldo
The Saudi Club are willing to part with $ 75Million a Year for Ronaldo
Ronaldo’s Agent is still looking for other options.
Saudi club hope to land a $75 million-a-year signing before the transfer window opens.
Al Nassr is hopeful that they will secure the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in time for the opening of the January window, sources close to the Saudi Arabian club have revealed.
After mutually terminating his contract with Manchester United, the 37-year-old is now a free agent. Al Nassr’s $225 million bid is the only one currently being considered for Ronaldo. Since Portugal was eliminated from what is almost certainly going to be his final World Cup, there has been growing optimism in Riyadh that they will soon secure his services. Development toward a final agreement may now proceed quickly.
It is understood that all parties have accepted the general conditions of Ronaldo’s Middle Eastern contract, and his final agreement will be needed for him to join the Al Nassr team.

Al Nassr pushes to sign Him.
Although sources at Al Nassr insist that Ronaldo has not travelled to seal the deal, his team members are rumoured to have been in the Saudi capital. In search of the elite-level clubs where Ronaldo believes he would still thrive, his Agent Jorge Mendes has been exploring the market in Europe and beyond. However, so far, his efforts have been in vain.
Even though he briefly trained with his old team Real Madrid last week, there is no desire to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
A return to Sporting, where he began his professional career, has been ruled out. Ronaldo may eventually have no choice but to stay in Saudi Arabia, though Al Nassr has been working hard to create an attractive package regardless of outside interest.
It was revealed earlier this month that the veteran striker had been given significant off-field power, including the ability to choose the head coach and a role in Saudi Arabia’s bid for the 2030 World Cup. His annual salary would be worth around $75 million, and he would have several other ways to supplement his income through his image rights.

Controversial Interview
After an explosive interview with TalkTV in November in which he aimed at the club hierarchy and several of its most legendary players, Ronaldo’s contract at Manchester United was terminated. The Red Devils bid a terse farewell to their former star in their first competitive game since parting ways with him. “Cristiano Ronaldo left the club last month by mutual agreement,” read an announcement on page six of the United Review matchday programme for their EFL Cup tie against Burnley.
“The Portuguese superstar scored 145 goals across two spells and 436 appearances and helped us win three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Ronaldo was also crowned Ballon d’Or winner in 2008. In a statement on November 22, the club expressed gratitude for Cristiano’s immense contribution and wished him and his family well for the future.”
