  • The January transfer window 2023 will be an interesting one
  • A major shocker awaits in Europe’s top leagues
  • Among them is Cristiano Ronaldo, who could be leaving Old Trafford

The January transfer window 2023 will be interesting as your favourite players make huge moves. Usually, the transfer window gives a chance to move to dream teams and good pay packages.

However, due to the World Cup, there are only six Premier League game weeks left until the January transfer window starts. So clubs are starting to plan their business for what is expected to be an unprecedented winter of football worldwide.

A major shocker awaits in Europe’s top leagues. The opportunity to escape all the fuss of haggling is frequently more than welcome and tempting too. Yet, the Premier League is becoming infamous for its huge transfer costs.

Nevertheless, 10 Premier League players are likely to feature in the January transfer window 2023.

MARCUS RASHFORD

Marcus Rashford, currently playing plays for Man United, is still a Red Devil at heart, but his contract with Old Trafford expires in 2023. However, his future has been called into doubt by flimsy connections to Barcelona and shocking rumours about his entourage meeting with PSG executives during the summer.

However, manager Erik ten Hag has told supporters that the 24-year-old won’t be leaving since United has the ability to activate an extension option.

CHRISTIANO RONALDO

Ronaldo, who is in the final year of his lucrative Old Trafford contract, is still considering leaving the club. That’s despite the ongoing discussion about whether the five-time Ballon d’Or winner deserves a spot in a faltering Manchester United team.

According to reports, the 37-year-old could exit in the January transfer window of 2023 after the World Cup. However, United is hesitant to let him go without a replacement in place, waiting until next June.

His offering on the pitch is fantastic, but finding a club that can afford to pay his outrageous compensation demands will be the obstacle.

ROBERTO FIRMINO

It was difficult to find a Firmino-supporting Liverpool supporter a few weeks ago. The Brazilian attacker, who appeared lethargic and raised concerns that he was past his prime, has decisively recovered to establish himself as the Reds’ player of the first half of the season.

Everyone was reminded of his goal-scoring prowess by his outstanding double against the Rangers. But at age 31, Firmino has entered the latter stages of his career, and it may soon be time to call it quits.

N’GOLO KANTE

Kante, a Chelsea star and yet another purported Barcelona target, may soon lose his status as the Premier League’s most endearing midfielder. The Frenchman, now 31 years old and frequently sidelined by injuries in recent seasons, may be able to extend his career at the pinnacle of world football by switching up his playing style.

Nevertheless, Kante has made it clear that he would like to extend his stay in west London, as he stated to Sky Sports earlier this year. Still, he will be a prolific player featuring in the January transfer window 2023.

JORGINHO

Midfielders are popular transfer targets every season, and Jorginho is among the greatest. The Italian has maintained his position under four different managers, most recently Graham Potter, proving his naysayers wrong after being hired by former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri in 2018.

However, Barcelona has once more been linked to the player. With regard to Jorginho’s future at Stamford Bridge, his representative Joao Santos told TuttoMercatoWeb that Chelsea remains a priority.

YOURI TIELEMANS

In football, it often appears that when a player’s contract is about to expire and no new deal is in sight, all of the teams agree to hold out on signing them. Tielemans has remained at Leicester, who are still in the relegation zone, after being extensively linked to a move to Arsenal throughout the summer.

Barcelona have entered the race because a player of his calibre deserves a much higher place. According to the Spanish publication Sport, Camp Nou officials are keeping an eye on the Belgian maestro in anticipation of either a free move in the summer of 2019 or a reduced-price deal in January.

DOUGLAS LUIZ

The Aston Villa midfielder, who spent time training under Mikel Arteta while on a two-year deal with Man City, was reportedly a target for Arsenal.

Guardiola predicted enormous things for Luiz when he was 24, and between now and January, Villa manager Steven Gerrard hopes to convince him to sign a new contract rather than leave the club.
