With Andreas Christensen and Rediger gone, the Blues were left with huge holes in the centre of their defence. However, the acquisition of Kalidou Koulibaly should soothe many of the concerns regarding the Blues’ backline for the upcoming season.
While playing for Napoli, the Senegalese international and former winner of the Africa Cup of Nations possesses the necessary pedigree and has established himself as one of the most accomplished centre defenders in the world.
His relationship with Edouard Mendy is anticipated to provide the Pensioners with a solid platform during the 22-23 season. It is also expected that Kalidou Koulibaly will boost Chelsea’s performance from now on.

The incredible goal that Aribo scored against Villarreal in the preseason brought to the attention of a wider audience his excellent technical capacity to beat players from the opposing team.
However, Southampton fans could foresee him contributing much more than just this one goal to their team’s midfield during the upcoming season.
While with Rangers, he won both the Scottish championship and the cup. He spent most of his time at Rangers collaborating with Steven Gerrard, and Aribo was instrumental in the Glaswegian giants’ run to the final of the Europa League last year. During this period, he also won the Scottish championship.
Because of his stamina and his knack for scoring goals, he has the potential to be one of the most successful midfielders in the Premier League and he may soon be destined to play for one of the league’s big boys.
3 Nayef Aguerd

Aguerd’s debut with West Ham United has been postponed due to an ankle injury he sustained during a preseason against Rangers.
However, it shouldn’t be long until the Morocco national team player can start showing his talent in English football.
He identified himself as one of the best central defenders in France when playing for Stade Rennais. Westham spent £30 million to sign him away from the club. He was technically competent, brave in the air, and sharp in the tackle.
In addition, Aguerd will be an essential player for the Atlas Lions when they compete in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. There is no doubt that Aguerd is notably among the new African signings to keep an aye on.

Few people would imagine Awonyi returning to the English Premier League after leaving Liverpool cost £18.5 million; last year, on a free transfer.
However, the striker had an outstanding season with Union Berlin during the previous campaign, more than making up for the £6.5 million transfer fee the club had to spend to acquire him from Liverpool.
The forward finished the previous season with 15 goals, which was easily a career-high. Still, the question is whether or not he can assist recently promoted Nottingham Forest in remaining in the premier league.
5 Orel Mangala
Mangala, who is still eligible to play for Congo, is one of the numerous fresh signings that Nottingham Forest has made in preparation for the next Premier League season.
As Steve Cooper attempts to overhaul his team in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead in the Premier League, the Tricky Trees brought in a 24-year-old player who was their 12th signing.
In the previous season, he played for VfB Stuttgart 29 times. He helped the club avoid relegation from the Bundesliga and displaying his intellect, dynamism, and ability to create opportunities in the final third.
