and they have now started the 2022-23 season by losing their first two games
The Glazers ownership of Manchester United is coming under closer scrutiny as a direct result of the dismal start that the club has had to the current campaign.
The dissatisfaction that Manchester United fans have with the Glazer family’s ownership of the club extends well beyond the performance of the team in the transfer market.
However, there are still many concerns to be asked about that particular aspect of the business.
United supporters have been very vocal in disapproving of the “Glazernomics” business model used to operate the team.
They have severe reservations about the club’s debt and the lack of investment in infrastructure.
Although the club has made significant investments in top talents such as Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, they have been unable to acquire other outstanding players because of their unwillingness to spend a significant amount of money.

United had a budget of £46 million to spend on a new right winger after Angel Di Maria was sold to Paris Saint-Germain in 2015 after falling short of expectations while playing for United at Old Trafford.
Pedro, who plays for Barcelona, was Louis van Gaal’s top target. Still, the Glazers did not want to activate the £23 million release clause that is written into Pedro’s contract.
As per sources, the Glazers believed that Pedro had minimal resale potential and valued him at only £17 million.
The owners of Chelsea did not share the same concerns. Therefore they agreed to pay the release clause in order to sign him and bring him home.
Pedro finished his time at Chelsea by scoring 43 goals. The soccer star helped the team win the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Europa League before departing on a free transfer in 2020.
Aguero
Throughout his time as a talented kid at Atletico Madrid, Aguero gained fame as one of the young talents of European football. This reputation helped him earn a transfer to Manchester City.
Naturally, United had a lot of interest in a player of his ability, and they were prominently linked to him but the the Glazers wer reluctant to get him. Later, the Argentinean finished a £38 million move to Etihadand was a persistent thorn in the side of United for ten years.
Not only did he net nine goals against United inUnited in his 16 appearances in the Manchester derby, but he also scored the goal that prevented United from winning the Premier League title in 2011-12. In total, he made 16 appearances in the Manchester derby.

After Ozil had been one of the breakthrough stars of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Sir Alex Ferguson began watching him at Werder Bremen,
It would appear that Ferguson was not successful in persuading the Glazers since to sign Ozil. As a result, the player ultimately decided to sign with Real Madrid. Ozil then went ahead to record 47 assists in just three seasons.
In addition, the German international went on to represent his country in international competitions.

Hazard was among the most sought-after players in Europe after he excelled for Lille. The soccer star was rumoured to be interested in joining either Manchester United or Manchester City.
However, once Chelsea won the Champions League, they increased their quest for the winger, and United was unwilling to match Chelsea’s offer. The Glazers were uwilling to spend to acquire the player
During his eight years with the Blues, Hazard won two Premier League titles, two Europa League titles, and one FA Cup, proving that he was well worth the money Chelsea spent on him.
Wesley Sneijder
Sneijder moved to Inter Milan in 2009 after being told Real Madrid no longer needed him. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most talented attacking midfielders in the world.
This move proved a game-changer for Jose Mourinho’s team, as they went on to win three consecutive trophies
Sneijder was heavily linked to Old Trafford and even claimed that he had “unofficial conversations” with the club in 2011. The rumours around his potential transfer were widespread.
However, a transaction did not take place because, according to reports. The Glazers refused to pay Inter’s asking price of £35 million.
