The Duchess announced this charitable partnership of Cambridge with tennis superstar Roger Federer to raise funds for a Tennis charity event.

On September 22, The O2 in London will play host to the Laver Cup Open Practice Day event.

Fans will get the opportunity to watch tennis greats like Roger Federer, Sir Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, and the 22 Grand Slam champion Nadal from Team Europe and Team World as they participate in their final on-court preparation for the competition.

On Monday, August 22, tickets will go on sale to the general public.

The Dutchess of Cambridge has a passion for promoting young talents

The event will collect funds for Action for Children and LTA, both of which have charitable foundations supported by Kate.

The LTA Tennis Foundation is one of the organisations that will benefit from the event.

According to Kensington Palace, the idea for the partnership between the two charitable organisations and the Laver Cup, co-founded by Roger Federer, came from Kate.

In addition, the Laver Cup will conduct a day of tennis in east London for children aged eight to fifteen.

These children will be drawn from those who are supported by Action for Children. And younger players from the local region who are part of the LTA Serves programme. Kate and Federer will be in attendance at this event.

The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), the organisation responsible for organising Wimbledon, has named Kate as its patron

Federer is Prince’s George favourite Tennis player

 Prince George revealed that Federer is his favourite player. The Tennis star has provided the royal kid with coaching suggestions.

In 2019, Federer played the prince after meeting him at the home of Kate’s parents in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Federer and his wife Mirka, have been longtime friends of the Middleton family. The couple attended the wedding of Kates’s sister Pippa. The wedding took place in 2017.

After Djokovic defeated Federer in the 2019 Wimbledon men’s final, Kate gave him the runner-up plate.

During a homecoming event in September of the previous year, Kate played a practice session with Emma Raducanu, who had just won the women’s title at the US Open

 According to Kensington Palace., the Dutchess of Cambridge is passionate about promoting Tennis.

The funds raised for Action for Children will help vulnerable children and their families receive care and support on both a practical and emotional level.

In addition, the charity will ensure that the children can have fun through various activities and outings.

As a remarkable memory of the Laver Cup, the money will be used to support 50 new LTA Serves tennis instruction programmes for youngsters in some of the most impoverished parts of the country, including near The O2 in London.

Federer will compete on Team Europe alongside Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Casper Ruud.

Players such as Diego Schwartzman of Argentina, Taylor Fritz of the United States, Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada will be represent America Team World will be represent
