Ronaldo will soon reveal the truth about his future
He says that the world will know the truth in a couple of weeks
Seven clubs have turned down an offer to sign him
Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo will soon reveal the truth about his future, following what he calls a summer of reading “lies” about him.
Ronaldo wrote on Instagram that the world will know the truth in a couple of weeks.
“They [will] know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks,” Ronaldo stated.
He speaks amid a stand by Erik ten Hag, United’s new manager, that the Portuguese player is not for sale. This is despite the fact that Ronaldo wants to leave the club.
The transfer window closes on September 1, but it is now believed that United may allow the 37-year-old to leave.
He liked a post on rumors that Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is interested in signing him. In response, he said this is among the lies being peddled.

Ronaldo says he only sees lies in over 90 news articles he has read recently.
“I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news [stories] I made, only five were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip,” he said.
Ronaldo’s deal with the Red Devils, which he signed after returning from Juventus a year ago, has one more year to run.
United finished sixth in the Premier League despite his return, which meant they did not qualify for the Champions League.
After losing their first two games of the season, they find themselves at the bottom of the standings for the first time since 1992–1993.
Gary Neville, a former teammate of Ronaldo’s at United, questioned on social media why Ronaldo, in his opinion the greatest player of all time, had to wait two weeks to tell Manchester United fans the truth.
He said Ronaldo should have made his case immediately. Neville says there is a dire need for strong leadership within the club at this time. He’s the only one who can take control of the situation.
Ronaldo led United in scoring with 24 goals last season across all competitions, although he was not present for the team’s preseason trip to Thailand and Australia.

United’s final friendly opponent was Rayo Vallecano, and at halftime, he was substituted. According to Ten Hag, it was “unacceptable” that Ronaldo and a number of teammates departed the game early.
The Portuguese superstar is looking to sign with a Champions League club that can compete for championships. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has shopped him around to a number of European clubs with no success.
Seven major clubs, according to the Corriere dello Sport, had the chance to sign Ronaldo, but they all declined.
Chelsea is one of them. The Premier League cub’s new owner, Todd Boehly, met with Mendes, to discuss a potential transfer but ultimately opted out after consulting coach Thomas Tuchel.
After trading Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, Bayern Munich also looked to add a scoring threat to their roster this summer. Bayern Munich, too, passed up a chance to sign Ronaldo because he was too old, too pricey, and an improper fit for the team.
Other teams that looked the other way include PSG, AC Milan, and Atletico.
