Thomas Tuchel worked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Borrusia Dortmund and it could be an easy deal for Chelsea to get the deal over the line.

The Gabon international compliments the Chelsea style of play and posses movements as likes Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount.

Romelu Lukaku last season failed to adapt to this system hence forcing a loan move a similar situation is also seen in Ronaldo who could take time to adjust to this at the age of 37.

Business wise it could be a deal Chelsea could opt for down the line as opposed to Ronaldo.

Why United late Move for Aubameyang

The Gabon international would perfectly fit in Erik Ten Hag’s system, as a striker he can drop deep to help the midfield and progress the ball forward.

Erik Ten hag’s third game of the season in charge against Liverpool demonstrated how he wants to play with his squad, He benched Ronaldo who came in the last five minutes of the game.

With or without the ball his team was always looking to close spaces by pressing high in the field and banking on counter-attacks that exposed Liverpool’s midfield.

Ronaldo is a clinical finisher and enjoys more on the ball that has been created, in contrast, Aubameyang is good in link-up play and movement in build-ups.
