The Major Soccer League (MLS) is becoming attractive to European footballers. It has hosted some of the top footballers who have left a footprint from different top European football clubs.
Over the past years we have witnessed high-profile players transferring to the United States top league to have a taste of the ball.
The players who have gone this way most of them have won several titles including the UEFA Champions League, the World Cup among other honors.
To say that Major League Soccer is only attractive to players over the age of 30 will be untrue, it is also becoming a dream destination to players in their prime.
Italian star man Lorenzo Insigne joined MLS from Napoli this season, he is one of the highly rated stars in Italian football.
We have compiled players who have had more success in European football leagues but transferred to the MLS including Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a man of all trade, argue not he has been in almost every league in Europe. Presently with AC Milan, the Swedish international at 40 years is showing no signs of slowing down.
He joined LA Galaxy in 2018 from Manchester United. Ibrahimovic was a star in the League scoring a total of 52 goals and 17 assists in 56 appearances for Los Angeles Galaxy in the two seasons.

He has played for big European clubs including Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, FC Barcelona, Juventus, AC Milan where he currently has contract, Intermilan and Ajax.
2. Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney is arguably one of the best English players. Now a DC United coach, the Manchester United all time leading goalscorer joined DC United as player from Everton in 2018. He retired from playing in 2021 to take start a managerial career.

Andrea Pirlo was one of exciting footballers during his playing time, most of which was Italy. He featured for clubs such as AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan. The FIFA World Cup winner who joined New York City FC in MLS at 36 years old had further a ridiculous season in US.
He hanged his boots in 2018 as a player to concentrate more on managerial career.
5. Thierry Henry
The legendary Arsenal player played for MLS club – NY Red Bulls in 2010. Earlier on the former Barcelona player was part of a Arsenal squad that won Premier League unbeaten. He was one of the best forward in his time in the Premier League.
Henry won the World Cup with France in 1998. He also won the Champions League among other titles during his career before retiring in 2015.
6. Kaka
The 2007 Ballon d’Or winner was something else on the wing, He was creatively mature and thanks to his dribbling and finishing prowess that made him popular around the World.

Kaka joined Real Madrid in 2009 from AC Milan and scored 29 times for Real Madrid in 120 appearances. Many People questioned what could have gone wrong in Real Madrid for Kaka but pundits attributed his low stats due to the signature of Ronaldo from Manchester the same year.
Kaka at AC Milan was astoundingly good to drop and hit the ground running since his first day at San Siro training under Carlo Ancelloti.
He won the FIFA World Cup trophy with Brazil and later in his career he played for Orlando City.
