With Forests’ summer recruitment drive taking up most of the headlines, the club is doing everything possible to consolidate its position in the Premier League.

This summer, Steve Cooper’s team has added 15 new players, and it appears that a 16th is on the way after a staggering deal was agreed upon for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.

His arrival might push Forest’s spending above the $150 million mark during this summer’s transfer window, and a risk Cooper has deemed necessary for the club as it strives to survive the current campaign. Forest will face Everton this weekend.

Moyes needs a response in advance of the challenging test

The only thing keeping West Ham off the bottom of the Premier League standings is the team’s goal difference, as the Hammers have started the season off with three straight losses.

The defeat at home to Manchester City was a blow, but the defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest over the weekend was a significant disappointment.

The team managed by David Moyes had some unlucky moments, including missing a penalty and hitting the post twice at the City Ground. Still, ultimately they were unsuccessful in finding a way to score, which led to their loss.

Before this weekend’s match against Brighton, an opponent who will likely have aspirations of pushing the Hammers for a spot in Europe this season, Moyes will expect a response from his team. Brighton is the team they will face.

Premier League week three: Newcastle to take on their toughest test

The title-winning machine that is Manchester City is already up and running just two games into the new Premier League season.

The reigning champions have won their first two matches, which has taken them to the top of the division.

Liverpool, who finished second in the Premier League in the previous year, has struggled early on. Manchester City has breezed through matches against West Ham and Bournemouth to set the early pace.

Ilkay Gundogan has reclaimed his position as a pivotal component of Pep Guardiola’s game plans, and Erling Haaland has contributed a new and dangerous attacking profile for the team.

Kevin De Bruyne is playing at a high level. So far, there have been 180 minutes of Premier League activity, and Newcastle will face a defence that has allowed only two attempts on target to be scored against them. This will be a challenging test for Newcastle this Saturday.

On the other hand, City presents a far more difficult challenge since they had won the last five matches between the clubs, with a combined score of 17-3.

It is expected to be a rowdy environment at St. James’. Bruno Guimares and Joelinton will be faced with the responsibility of upsetting City’s dominance over the midfield.

Martinelli’s form

Gabriel Martinelli has been a revelation for Arsenal since the club signed him as an unknown.

After being signed as a teenager from Brazil’s second division, the attacker scored ten goals in all competitions during his first season with Arsenal.

He also demonstrated a fearlessness that immediately won over the support of the Emirates crowd.

The 21-year-old was hampered in his development throughout the following two seasons due to injuries. Still, he has not stopped improving since he made his way back into the lineup .

Martinelli, who participated in the entirety of Arsenal’s preseason, has gotten off to a flying start to the regular season. He has scored in each of the Gunners’ first two games, helping the team to a perfect start of two wins in a row.

Martinelli’s contagious spirit has been a key component of their successful start. His tireless jogging, along with that of his compatriot Gabriel Jesus, has been the engine that has propelled the team to this point.

The forward has been improving with each game, and he has the makings of a future superstar.

Premier League week three: Man United vs Liverpool

After two matches, neither team has a win and sits in the bottom half of the Premier League standings.

Even though it’s still early in the season, United’s start has been nothing short of awful. The team’s most recent loss, a 4-0 setback at the hands of Brentford, was as humiliating. The club has endured since the beginning of the Premier League era.

Anxiety will permeate the air prior to Liverpool’s encounter at Old Trafford on Monday evening. In addition to the anger generated by the demonstrations that will take place before the game.

The Reds have also had a rough start, drawing their first two games against Fulham and Crystal Palace, respectively. However, they were dominant in their matchups versus United last year.

It is important to note that if United were to win, Erik ten Hag‘s team would go into first place in the Premier League, surpassing Liverpool.

This may provide some perspective on the mania that has enveloped a season that had hardly begun. However, given their previous performances, that is more of a glimmer of hope than an expectation.
