Some professional wrestlers have met their life partners while working at World Wrestling Entertainment. The romance we see on the screen has turned out to be real romance in real life for some wrestlers.

There are wrestlers from the past and present who are married to fellow wrestlers. Some of the wrestlers began dating before joining WWE. A perfect example is FKA Mikaze and Sasha Banks, who began dating while working at the Independent Circuit.

This article will look at the top five wrestlers who are married in real life.

1. The Miz and Maryse

The Miz and Maryse are a couple who began dating more than ten years ago. 

The Miz is a former WWE champion who has also held various titles in the company. Maryse is a former Divas Champion and one of the best female wrestlers in WWE.

The Miz and Maryse first met in 2006 when The Miz was hosting a WWE Diva search, a contest in which Marsye participated. However, they didn’t start dating immediately after they met. 

According to Marsye, The Miz was initially mean to her. The two began talking in 2007 after one of the major Raw events. They later fell in love and started dating. The Miz and Maryse got married in 2014 and are currently blessed with two children. 

The Miz and his wife have wrestled together on three different occasions. They fought against John Cena and Nikki Bella at Wrestlemania 33. They later teamed up against Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella. The Miz and Maryse’s last match as a team was earlier this year when they fought Edge and Beth Phoenix at Royal Rumble. 

The couple currently works on WWE TV, where Maryse plays the role of The Miz’s on-screen manager. 

2. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are one of the most famous couples in WWE. The relationship between Triple H and McMahon started as a storyline and ended as a real thing. 

Triple H joined WWE in 1995 as a wrestler, whereas Stephanie joined the company in 1999, working on-screen. The two fell in love off-screen and began dating by the year 2000. 

Vince McMahon initially allowed Triple H and Stephanie to date off-screen. However, he later stopped them from dating before love brought them together again ten months later. 

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon officially married in 2003 and are blessed with three daughters.

3. Edge and Beth Phoenix

Edge and Beth Phoenix are another famous WWE couple. Both Beth Phoenix and Edge are WWE Hall of Famers. 

The WWE legends did not know each other until 2011, when they met at Edge’s Appreciation Night in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. 

Edge and Beth Phoenix began dating after they met. They married in October 2016 and are blessed with two daughters, Lyric and Ruby. 

Edge and his wife worked together for the first time on-screen earlier this year as they fought against The Miz and Marsye. They won the Royal Rumble match. 

4. Jimmy Uso and Naomi

Jimmy is the twin brother of Jey Uso, and they are members of the Usos tag team. 

Jimmy Uso and Naomi met in 2009 when they both joined Vince McMahon’s company. Jimmy knew Naomi at WWE’s training facility. 

The couple dated for some time before tying the knot on January 16, 2014. 

Jimmy and Naomi appeared together on Total Divas, WWE’s reality television show. They have worked together as a tag team on WWE several times. As a tag team, they participated in both seasons of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge. 

5. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are two of the biggest WWE superstars at the moment. Seth Rollins and his wife have competed together as partners on WWE three times. They have defeated Lacey Evans and Happy Corbin, Maria and Mike Kanellis, and Queen Zenila and Andrade. 

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch began dating in February 2019. They were initially friends before becoming couples. The two announced their engagement in August 2019. 

Seth Rollins and his wife welcomed their first child in December 2020 and officially got married in June 2021.
