Eden Hazard speaks on his future and injuries

Eden Hazard was one of the best football players in the world during his time in the English Premier League with Chelsea. However, things have not been the same for the talented winger since he secured a move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019. 

Eden Hazard has had a difficult spell with the Los Blancos. The Belgian international has not been on form due to the injuries he has suffered at Real Madrid. He has picked up 16 knocks since leaving Chelsea in 2019.

Hazard is not happy with how he has struggled at Real Madrid in the past three seasons. The winger has only contributed to 16 goals since he arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu.

During an interview with ESPN, Eden Hazard opened up about his injury woes and future at Real Madrid. The Belgian international also named the player who deserves to win the Ballon d’Or award.

Eden Hazard does not feel okay with his struggles in Spain. The winger said it’s not easy for him, especially because he does not know why he keeps on getting injured. Hazard said that he knew something was wrong with his body, and that’s why he asked for surgery at the end of the season. 

Eden Hazard has mixed feelings about Real Madrid’s success last season. He is happy for the team, his teammates and the fans. However, he is not happy with the fact that he contributed little to the success achieved by Real Madrid last season. 

The talented dribbler wants to put in work so he can be of great importance to the Los Blancos next season. He wants to train hard and be fit so he can get playing time next season under Carlo Ancelotti. 

Eden Hazard also spoke about his future with ESPN. The winger does not plan on leaving Real Madrid anytime soon. Hazard, who has been linked to the MLS, said that he is currently focused on Real Madrid.

The playmaker said he plans to stay at Real Madrid until his contract expires in 2025. Hazard will think about his future after the next two seasons with the La Liga giants.

Eden Hazard also spoke about Karim Benzema winning the Ballon d’Or this year. Hazard believes that Karim Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or award due to his outstanding performance last season. Benzema helped Real Madrid win the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season. 

Hazard described Karim Benzema as a very good guy. He praised the Frenchman for being on top of the game for over 15 years.
