Crystal Palace will face off against Arsenal on the first day of the 2022–2023 Premier League season on August 6.

In contrast, Everton will welcome the Blues to Goodison Park on the same day. While Manchester United will open their 2022–2023 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford with a match against Brighton, Manchester City will begin their championship defence against West Ham.

Liverpool, who finished as the runner-up in the 21/22 season, will play newly-promoted Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage.

This indicates that these young talented players  may participate in the opening weekend’s games.

Here are the young talented footballers to watch in the 2022/23 season

Bukayo Saka- Arsenal

Even though he is only 20, Saka is unquestionably one of the most critical players in the Arsenal locker room. The head coach Mikel Arteta positions him on the right wing, and the winger has been performing exceptionally well in the broad areas recently.

He loves to zoom past his opponents before turning inside to his left, where he can either take a shot on goal or loop in a crossing for the central striker within the box. His goal is to score or find the target man inside the box.

Bukayo Saka is a priceless asset for Arsenal, and with more experience under his belt, the Gunners anticipate that he will achieve even greater success in the upcoming campaign.

Erling Haaland- Manchester City

Since Sergio Aguero departed the club in 2021, Manchester City has been lacking a quality striker. Their summer-long quest for Harry Kane ended when he decided to remain with Tottenham.

After playing for Dortmund for 88 games and scoring 85 goals, Erling Haaland is viewed as the ideal replacement because of his meteoric rise to prominence in the Champions League while playing for Red Bull Salzburg in 2019.

As he was growing up, he was a dedicated follower of Manchester City, and he now walks in his father’s footsteps, Alf Inge, who made the same move from Leeds to City precisely 22 years earlier.

Since he was a teenager playing for Molde in his home country of Norway, Manchester City has been keeping an eye on his development for several years.

Anthony Elanga- Manchester United

Anthony Elanga stood out as a bright spot for Manchester United supporters despite the season being one of the club’s least successful in recent memory because of his string of outstanding performances in front of goal.

The young player, who was only 20 years old then, participated in all of 2022’s matches and scored three times in all of his league’s competitions.

If Manchester United star striker Cristiano Ronaldo decides to leave Old Trafford, the 2022-2023 season may be his own, implying additional chances for the youngster.

Phil Foden- Manchester City

Since making his first appearance for Manchester City in 2017, the England international has consistently performed at a superb level.

The youngster’s speed and dribbling make him a headache for opposing defenders, and boss Guardiola mainly plays him on the team’s left wing.

Given that he spends most of his time in the offensive third of the field, his pass passer rating of about 90 per cent is nothing short of extraordinary. During the 2021-22 season, he played a total of 3,184 minutes throughout all competitions and netted 14 goals.

Harvey Elliott- Liverpool

The Liverpool winger got off to a tremendous start to the 2021-22 season, appearing in all four opening League Matches and starting two of them. He also had a great start to the season.

Unfortunately, he could not participate in a significant portion of the season due to an ankle injury.

He made his comeback in February and scored a great goal to cap off a comeback victory for his team over Cardiff, 3-1.

Even though he came in as a substitute, he could rack up significant playing time at the season’s conclusion. And throughout the upcoming summer, he will be keen to realise his potential and regain the trust of Jurgen Klopp.

Since he and Fabio Carvalho spent a significant amount of time together at Fulham’s academy, the latter’s arrival will also serve as an essential morale booster for the former.
