Well, the Pogmentary has been the talk of football fans since its launching. Football fans have given their opinions on the documentary, and it’s clear that a good number of fans don’t like it. According to the latest reports, the Pogmentary has the worst rating on IMDB. It has a rating of 1.1/10.

What is in the documentary?

The documentary follows Paul Pogba’s journey from childhood until his final moments with Manchester United. The Pogmentary also discloses Paul Pogba’s family and what makes him a superstar. It is a very self-grandiose show that many football fans have disliked. 

The series has animated scenes which some fans have described as informal. There is also a feeling of repetitiveness in Paul Pogba’s documentary. 

Episode One

Episode one starts with words praising the former Manchester United star. ‘Wherever he goes, he is shiny …like a walking star’. 

The episode shows Paul Pogba leaving France to join the Manchester United academy in England. Agent Mino Raiola and lawyer Rafaela Pimenta are introduced in the episode as two important people in Pogba’s career. The episode is a special dedication to the late Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent. 

Paul Pogba introduces his family and reveals his caring side by showing how he visited Manchester City and gave food parcels to the homeless. 

Episode Two

Episode two starts after the end of the 2020/21 season when Paul Pogba is preparing for the Euro 2020 with France. Pogba’s close friendship with Antoine Griezmann is disclosed in this episode. 

The theme of family is shown here when Paul Pogba and his wife travel to London to ride horses. We are also introduced to Pogba’s mother, who is in her native Guinea for the Ramadan celebrations. 

Episode three

Episode three focuses on Paul Pogba’s career and the transfer saga surrounding him. 

Paul Pogba’s wife, Zulay and the children are in Miami for the summer holiday. The Frenchman joins them immediately after France is knocked out of the Euro 2020 by Switzerland. 

Pogba revealed in the episode that the rumours circulating in France about his potential move to Paris Saint Germain were not true. Raiola, in the episode, was ready to make deals with Real Madrid and PSG for Pogba’s transfer.

The episode reveals how Paul Pogba had a setback in his youthful days as he was rejected by Clairefontaine, a legendary French football academy.

Episode Four

Paul Pogba speaks with Mino Raiola about his contract situation with Manchester United. The Frenchman then visits his former international teammate, Blaise Matuidi, who lives in Florida. 

Pogba’s passion for basketball is also shown in this series as he goes off to play at Miami Heat facilities. Pogba looks back at the 2019/20 season when he was entirely injured. This episode also includes video footage reflecting Pogba’s four years at Juventus

Paul Pogba’s transfer saga is so repetitive in this episode. 

Episode Five

The documentary ends in episode five, where Pogba shows he is happy at Manchester United. However, he later shuns Manchester United opting for a move to Juventus. 

The central midfielder speaks positively about Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo in this episode. His international teammate, Raphael Varane, visits Pogba with his family. 

He partners with designer Stella for promotional work, revealing their friendship when Pogba throws a party for his youngest son. 

Paul Pogba speaks about his difficult relationship with former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho. He also discusses his injury in November that crippled him until the season was nearing an end. 

Pogba, who is expected to join Juventus any time, says in his final episode that he wants to prove Manchester United and the fans wrong.
