Dean Henderson will leave Manchester United this summer. The England goalkeeper is set to join Nottingham Forest on loan.
The 25 years old will be on loan until the end of next season, after which Nottingham Forest can buy him for 20 million euros.
Manchester United want to replace Dean Henderson with Daniel Bachmann of Watford City.
Manchester United’s number two goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, is ready to leave the club this summer. Dean has agreed to join the English Premier League newly-promoted side, Nottingham Forest. However, the move will be on loan until the end of next season.
Nottingham Forest will have an option to buy Dean Henderson at the end of his loan period. Manchester United will demand 20 million euros from Nottingham Forest if they decide to keep him permanently after the end of next season.
Dean Henderson is an academy graduate of Manchester United. He joined the English Premier League giants in August 2011 when he was 11 years old. The England international first signed his professional deal with the Red Devils in 2015.

The star goalkeeper spent most of his Manchester United career playing on loan for different clubs. Dean Henderson first played on loan for Stockport County in 2016. He made 13 appearances for the club. He returned to Manchester United and was loaned out to Grimsby County for the 2016/17 season.
Dean was once again loaned out by his parent club to Shrewsbury Town for the 2017/18 season. He was the club’s number one goalkeeper that season and did an impressive job.
Sheffield United signed the Englishman on loan the following season. He was one of their best players for the 2018/19 season, and they extended his loan period until the summer of 2020. Dean then returned to Manchester United and has not been loaned out again.
He was the number two goalkeeper for the Red Devils in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. The England international will once again leave the club on loan this summer after failing to displace David de Gea from his position as the number one goalkeeper.
Manchester United intend to replace Dean Henderson with a new goalkeeper who will compete with Tom Heaton for the number two spot. The Red Devils are targeting a number of budget options. According to reports, Manchester United are in talks with Watford City for one of their goalkeepers.
Dean Henderson, on the other hand, will be replacing Brice Samba as Nottingham Forest’s number one goalkeeper. Brice is expected to leave the club this summer and join Ligue One in France.
Brice Samba is one of the players who fought hard to ensure Nottingham Forest gets the promotion to the English Premier League this season. He joined Nottingham Forest in 2019, where he signed a four-year deal.
However, Brice Samba has no intentions of competing in the English Premier League next season. He is eyeing a move to France and is expected to leave any time before the transfer window is closed.
