Who are the highest paid football coaches in Europe?

• Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, is the highest-paid manager in Europe’s top five leagues
• Pep Gurdiola Manchester city’s boss is the highest paid coach in the English premier league side
• Simeone’s current contract will expire in 2022, after which the Argentine will have spent ten years as a manager at Atletico Bilbao
•  But the  Atletico Bilbao boss signed another contract extension untill 3oth of June, 2024

Having one of the best football managers costs a lot of money, which is well rewarded in all fairness.

The highest-paid managers are frequently employed by elite clubs, which rely on them to maintain winning trophies season after season.

The coaches listed below are outstanding at what they do and bring a wide range of expertise to the table. As a result, the clubs compensate them well for their services.

In recent years, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, and Thomas Tuchel have all established themselves among the world’s finest.

But how much do their clubs pay them? And how do their pay packages stack up against those of Europe’s top executives?

L’Equipe has selected the three highest-paid managers in each of Europe’s top five leagues after analyzing the figures.

Take a look at what they discovered (The figures represent how much they make in gross salary per month.) 

PREMIER LEAGUE

1. Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)

Pep Guardiola is unquestionably one of the most successful managers in the world today.

The Spaniard has made Manchester City one of Europe’s most feared teams by effectively utilizing resources. His tenure with Barcelona and Bayern Munich were similarly successful.

As a result, the Cityzens, who have plenty of cash, pay Guardiola roughly $ 2 million per month. This places him in second place among Europe’s highest-paid executives.

 Jurgen Klopp (LIverpool)  and  Antonio Conte (Tottenham) are tied for second place, with $ 1.49 million per month.

Both Tuchel (Chelsea and Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) are unable to make the top three.

LALIGA

Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, is the highest-paid manager in Europe’s top five leagues. Guardiola is paid $ 43.2 million by the La Liga team, almost twice as much as Manchester City pays Guardiola.

Simeon’s zeal has reinforced the team throughout the years as they strive to overthrow Real Madrid and FC Barcelona’s supremacy.

When his contract expires in 2022, the Argentine will have served as manager for ten years. He has won two UEFA Europa League trophies and one La Liga title with the club, among other honors.

Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid) comes second with $ 910,000, and Marcelino Garcia Toral (Athletic Bilbao) third with $ 500,000 per month.

SERIE A

1. Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus)

Allegri is the most paid coach in Serie A, earning $ 1.17 million.

Jose Mourinho has enjoyed success at most of the clubs where he has worked. The Portuguese coach is regarded as one of the best globally, and he has the awards to prove it.

The former manager of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and FC Porto is now in charge of a Laliga club.

Mourinho (AS Roma) is only the second-highest-paid manager in Italy’s top tier with $ 770,00 million

The Portuguese legend is paid less than Max Allegri, who returned to Juventus last summer.

Simeone Inzaghi( Inter) rounds out the top three with $ 610,000 million

BUNDESLIGA

1. Julian Nagelsmann (Bayern Munich)

. Last summer, Bayern Munich splashed a large quantity of money on Julian Nagelsmann to lure him away from RB Leipzig.

His monthly compensation of $ 666,000 is still far lower than that of some of Europe’s top coaches

Garardo Seoane ( Bayern Leverkusen) is the second highes paid in Bundesliga with $ 416,000 while M Rose( Borussia Dortmund) rounds up the top three with $ 375,000 per month.

LIGUE 1

1. Mauricio Pochettiono (PSG)

Mauricio Pochettino is the highest paid coach in Ligue 1

 Mauricio Pochettino is Ligue 1’s highest-paid manager, which comes as no surprise.

The Argentine is paid $ 1.1 million per month, which is $ 800,000 more than Jorge Sampaoli and Christophe Galtier’s monthly pay.

However, he may not be in charge of PSG for much longer. Pochettino is under increasing pressure following their Champions League last-16 elimination to Real Madrid earlier this month.

Jorge Sampaoli (Marseille) is the second paid in Ligue 1 with $ 330,000, while Christophe Galtier (Nice) ends the top three with also $ 330,000 per month.
