UEFA has conducted the Europa League last-16 draw on Friday afternoon.
West Ham and Sevilla will play out in what is promising to be the match to watch whilst Barcelona after trashing Napoli on Thursday night have been handed an easier one against Galatasaray.
The last-16 of the UEFA Europa League will take place on Thursday, March 10 with exception of two matches which will be played a day earlier and the second leg a week later.
The UEFA Europa League play-off saw a host of big teams clashing and resulted in some being knocked out of the competition including Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Serie A greats Napoli.
UEFA on Friday afternoon conducted the draw for the last-16 in the competition and with it, came interesting ties to watch out for in Europe’s second-biggest club competition.

Barcelona – playing their first Europa League campaign since 2004, saw off Napoli in style on Thursday night in Naples have been drawn against Turkish side Galatasaray in the last 16 of the Europa League.
Xavi’s side were 4-2 winners on aggregate over Napoli in the round of 32 after dropping into the competition from the Champions League.
They will now meet the Turkish Super Lig giants, with the first leg at Camp Nou to be played on March 10 and the reverse fixture to be played a week later in Istanbul.

Sevilla, winners of a record six trophies in the competition, will face David Moyes’ West Ham – this itself is also another great tie to watch with both teams enjoying a good campaign in their domestic leagues, Sevilla currently sits second in the La Liga table just six points behind leaders Real Madrid whilst West Ham United is in the sixth position in the Premier League, battling it out for the top four with giants Manchester United and Arsenal.
Sevilla will be in high morale in this tie as the final of the Europa League 2022 will be played in the club’s home stadium, the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
Meanwhile, Sevilla’s rivals Real Betis will play Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Another great fixture in the draw pitted Portugal’s side, FC Porto, against Ligue 1 Lyon in what is promising to be a staggering fixture.
Rangers, who shocked Borussia Dortmund in the previous round, take on Red Star and RB Leipzig will play Spartak Moscow. Spartak’s home leg must be played at a neutral venue due to the military invasion of Ukraine ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin, UEFA has announced prior to the draw.
The first legs will be played on March 10, with the exception of Porto versus Lyon and Betis’ game with Frankfurt, which will be held a day earlier. The second legs are a week later.
