Cristiano Ronaldo looks forward to leaving Manchester United in the summer if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League.

Paul Pogba is also reported to be in talks with the Paris Saint-Germain PSG to leave Old Trafford if they may fail to qualify for the Champions League alongside Jesse Lingard who is set to leave for Newcastle.

According to the reports from Italy, United are in a ‘pole position’ to sign long-term target Sergej Milinkovic. While it has been revealed Donny van de Beek turned down the move to leave Newcastle as he was afraid to fight a relegation battle. Cristiano Ronaldo camp is concerned with how the Red Devils are performing with the club currently standing in seventh place in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are preparing for the Premier League clash against Brentford without Ronaldo has been in  Switzerland 24 hours earlier as he collected a special FIFA award for breaking the all-time international scoring record.

The Portugal captain is dealing has a hip injury but United interim manager Ralf Rangnick does not think it will keep him out beyond the midweek clash with Brentford.

At the moment, even though Rangnick looks set to lose Martial, he can hold back Paul Pogba’s services until the season ends. The Interim Manager reveals that he had a long chat with the midfielder who confirmed he will remain with the club until the season ends. Jadon Sancho is currently in the mental battle to live up to the hype and his price tag at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are currently sitting in seventh place of the Premier League table,  with only five points off fourth-placed West Ham and 24 points behind top of the table Manchester City though with two matches in hand over both.

Ronaldo was snubbed by FIFA for the best player of the year shortlist but the United superstar has been handed a special award for breaking yet another record.

He became the men’s all-time top goalscorer in September when he scored twice for Portugal against the Republic of Ireland and was handed a unique accolade at the Best Ceremony in Zurich on Monday night.

Mohamed Salah missed out despite the Egyptian making the shortlist for the men’s Best Player with Ronaldo being left out. FC Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas won the Best FIFA Women’s player of the year but was not among the line-up

Ronaldo was presented with the award following his record-breaking 110th and 111th strikes for Portugal against the Republic of Ireland in September. Ronaldo has no plans on retiring anytime soon although he’s rapidly approaching the age of 37, insists has to play for another four or even five years.
