This was the first time KCCA FC failed to score in the Uganda Premier League game this term. It was an end-to-end affair in the opening 10 minutes but both sides failed to bury their chances.

In the 11th minute. Express’ Lumu Isa went into the referee’s book for tagging on Anaku’s shirt at the centerline just when the young man seemed like he had whisked away from the entire away team’s backline.
Majwega dribbled past his man and crossed in the away team’s box but custodian Otim was equal to the task. Express then made the first chance of the game, Deus Bukenya replacing Lumu in the 17th minute.
With two minutes to the half-hour mark, Iguma Dennis and Sadat Anaku interchanged beautifully in the Express box, the former’s shot flew wide with Denis Otim beaten.
In the 33rd minute, Anaku’s header was palmed away by Otim on the goal line. That being KCCA FC’s best chance in the opening stanza.
After recess, Kasirye Davis replaced Gift Ali.
Herbert Achai picked a ball in the middle and shot on goal but the ball flew wide in the 55th minute.
In the 62nd minute, KCCA FC survived on one end and skipper Benjamin Ochan had a quick start to Anaku whose shot was parried over the crossbar by Express’Otim.
In the 77th minute, Anaku’s had the game’s best moment of offensive promise but his header flew wide off the upright with the goal at his mercy.
In the 80th minute, Mato Rogers rattled the woodwork with a smart final touch of so much confusion in the away team’s box.
Byekwaso rang some changes. He made a triple substitution, introducing Jurua Hassan, Musa Ramathan, Kigozi Andrew for Usama Arafat, John Revita, and Rogers Mato.
Brian Aheebwa then replaced Innocent Wafula in the 87th minute.
With both sides collecting a piece each, KCCA FC visit Onduparaka FC on 27th December 2021 in Arua.
KCCA FC is still top of the table on 28 points from 12 games.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) secured a routine 2-0 win over Mbarara City during matchday 12 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
A goal from each half from team captain Shafik Kuchi Kagimu and substitute Ibrahim Dada (penalty) earned the maximum points for the tax collectors’ funded side.
Kagimu broke the deadlock with the opener at the quarter hour mark after his initial shot had hit the post.
Mbarara City made an early chance inside the opening 30 minutes when stylish midfielder Tom Kakaire represented Ivan Donald Otude.
At the start of the second half, both sides called for immediate changes.
Left-back Derrick Ndahiro paved the way for the towering Arafat Galiwango in URA’s change as Ronald Edwok replaced Karim Ramathan for the Ankole Lions.
Dada replaced pacy forward Steven Desse Mukwala three minutes off the hour mark.
Moments later, URA pint-sized winger Joakim Ojera was cautioned for unsporting conduct in the 72nd minute before he paved way for Living Kabon.
Kabon got fouled in the forbidden area and the center referee Rajab Bakasambe did not hesitate to point to the spot.
Dada made it two with a well-struck penalty past goalkeeper Muhammed Ssekeba with less than 10 minutes to play.
It was a dream day for URA academy player Kokas Alou who made his debut, replacing the tried and tested Saidi Kyeyune in the 89th minute.

This was URA’s fourth victory of the season which takes them to 17 points as they lie on 8th on the 16 team log.
Mbarara City fell in the 6th defeat of the campaign as they remain on 14 points, the same as Gaddafi.
Army side UPDF and BUL played to a one-all draw at Army Barracks stadium.
Wakiso Giants fell 1-2 to Arua Hill at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.
Busoga United lost 1-0 to Sports Club Villa at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Salim Abdallah scored Sports Club Villa’s only goal.
