Robert Lewandowski for the past season’s has been having a career of a lifetime, in 2020 Lewandowski was awarded the FIFA Men’s Best player beating Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to emerge the winner.

The comparison between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo v/s any other player did not shy away from the reporter’s mouth as Bayern coach found himself fumbling to answer when quizzed who is better between the three -Messi, Ronaldo, and Lewandowski.

In response, Nagelsmann said the three players are different and it is difficult to compare them.

He said although Lewandowski is older he can still do more a lot to what Lionel Messi and Ronaldo have done previously exuding confidence in the player’s Physique and his football lifestyle.

“He will continue to be the best forward in the world because he does everything to keep it that way,” Nagelsmann said in a post-match briefing.

He says that the 33-year-old Poland International has shown his happiness on and off the pitch a thing he says is crucial for the player’s performance and that it amuses him so much.

Robert Lewandowski was in every corner of the pitch and proved more of a threat to the opponents, he was both defensive and offensive as he tried to get more goals for his team.

“His numbers are impressive. Well, we are now aiming for him to score 100 Champions League goals. Maybe not this year, this will be a tight one. But he will achieve this hopefully.”

Lewandowski headed home his first goal in the 26th minute and chipped in another just past the hour after also setting up Serge Gnabry for a sensational backheel flick in the 32nd minute.

Although he missed a penalty in the last minute of the first half, he completed a hat trick in the 85th minute.
In a bit to comprehend with the missed penalty Lewandowski expressed his dissatisfaction saying it was not a perfect game as he had missed a penalty.
“But better to miss early than late in the game. Luckily we scored several more goals and got the three points.” Lewandowski said after the match.

“I did not get the ball often in the first 20 minutes but you have to stay patient as a striker. To be honest I never thought I would ever play so many games in the Champions League and score so many goals.”

Poland striker Lewandowski has scored 22 goals in 18 games for Bayern this season – including eight in four in the Champions League.

Bayern, who have won all four games and scored a joint-record 17 goals at this stage, are six points above second-placed Barcelona while Benfica is third on four points.
