Manchester United is progressively doing badly as the sun rises from east and sets in the west. The Old Trafford atmosphere is continually changing and fans are no longer reading the same script with manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer.
The recent defeat at the King Power Stadium has all sponsoring sack Ole hashtag on Twitter, trending for more than 48hrs, a sign enough the fans have fed up with their former sweetheart project.
United was beaten 4-2 in Leicester despite commanding an early lead via Mason Greenwood thunder shot and this week they play Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League group stage qualification.
The club has spent huge amounts of money in building their defense and attacking forward but what mostly they did not consider the last summer was their Defensive midfield which cannot be trusted anymore with McTominay and Fred who expose defenders in every game, Nemanja Matic is slow to through his legs and currently has been a second option to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United’s midfield is tame and entirely underqualified in comparison.
The only thing that will change Ole’s fortune if he survives this coming month is to sign a proper defensive midfielder that can take charge of changes and snuff out opposing counter-attacks.
Although United has been linked with England’s ace midfielders, Declan Rice, and Kalvin Phillips to fill this gap other players are doing exceptionally well and can solve united’s long search for a midfielder and offer a long term solution.

Declan Rice is heavily tipped to be the right decision for this position given his dream of playing for united however his huge wages could give united a turn away from him.
Elsewhere, Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde has told his agent he wants to pursue a move to United, according to reports in Spain.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Old Trafford previously, although United ultimately went for Raphael Varane during the summer.
In the coming winter transfer, united could and perhaps should target these players to fix that problem.
We have taken a look at three players that we believe possess the abilities, mentality to read the game, and energy to drive this course well consequently restore hopes of a title-challenging this season even though they remain a niche.
Aurelien Tchouameni
Often labeled a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni would actually be an astute defensive midfield signing for Man Utd to compliment their own France international in the middle of the pitch.

Although Tchouameni can play as a deep-lying playmaker if called upon, his best performances for Monaco and now the France national team have often come from his ability to break up plays and his excellent reading of the game.
Although he’s only valued at $31m right now, Tchouameni would likely cost twice that amount in January.
Wilfred Ndidi
At 24 years of age, the Nigerian has risen in ranks to become one the best holding midfielders in the Premier League. He was signed by Leicester from Genk in 2017 and shows no signs of slowing down at his best position.
Manchester United needs a player like Ndidi who has proven beyond doubt his ability to intercept through balls from opposing defenders and guarding Leicester’s defense against counter-attacks. In Ndidi United will have a player who will automatically stop smaller clubs from stealing silly goals in the league.

With a contract at Leicester that is set to run until 2024, Ndidi is currently valued at $53m and certainly wouldn’t be cheap in January. But, for Man Utd, he may be a necessity.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Pierre Emile Hojbjerg is a tailored midfielder who knows the game landscape of the premier league. The star could offer what is missing at Old Trafford if Manchester United pounces their hands on him in the winter transfer.
Despite the shaky Tottenham side, the Denmark international has remained firm and consistent in countering attacks from reaching the defense most a times for the London club since signing from Southampton.
Of course, such a talent would demand a high price and with currently valued at $57m there’s no telling what Spurs would demand for Hojbjerg. But he would be an immediate improvement on their current crop of midfielders.
