Yanga Football Club has officially announced Mr Senzo Mbatha Maszingiza as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the club based in Twiga and Jangwani.

Senzo’s appointment to the new position within Yanga stems from the implementation of the club’s new operating system and he becomes the first in the club’s history.

Senzo, a South African sports executive and administrator, was working at the club as a mentor, especially towards the transformation process. His new rank will now give him the operational power to ensure Yanga makes great strides in completing the transformation process.

Mbatha previously held the position of CEO at Simba football club.

The 42-year-old took his appreciation on Twitter, thanking the club, “for yet another opportunity or yet another opportunity to contribute to the transformation and success of @yangasc1935. I pledge to give it all my best with your support, Inshallah we shall see success,” he said.
