Lionel Messi handed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) its first goal on Tuesday during a Champions League match with Manchester City.
Messi finally sent the ball to the net in an intriguing fashion during his fourth appearance for PSG.
He joined the French Ligue 1 club in August after a teary exit from his childhood club, Barcelona.

As soon as the ball hit City’s net, the Parc des Princes crowd went on a full-blown roar celebrating the football legend.
It was a classic goal given his recent return from an injury. Messi’s light is back.
In his first four appearances at PSG, his performance was hindered by injury and walks off goalless and without assists.
On Tuesday though, he was as fit as a fiddle and made a grand appearance just as coach Mauricio Pochettino promised.
With the ball on his foot, he surged forward, passed it to Mbappe who had it on a backheel, and passed it on to Messi who left Ederson in shock with his 20-yard shot.
Before this Champions League battle, there was a lot of pessimism on whether Messi’s injury would allow him back to the pitch.
As soon as his name was read out before the start of the game, the crowd let out a loud cheer welcoming him.
PSG’s second victory goal was secured by Gueye with assists from Mbappe and Neymar.
