Mbappe Snubs PSG Contract Renewal, Ready To Exit France

Confirmed reports indicate that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player Kylian Mbappe rejected a contract renewal deal.

His refusal to renew his contract with PSG now fuels rumors of his planned exit to Real Madrid according to Spanish news outlets.

Sources at PSG say his contract renewal terms were “more than good” but he still turned them down.

A five-year contract with one additional year was on the table as well as an additional salary. This would make him the third-highest PSG player after Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Mbappe reportedly told PSG Sporting Director Leonardo Nascimento de Araújo that this is not enough.

The summer transfer window is just about to end – there are only seven days left to its end.

RMC Sport, a leading French sports outlet on Monday said that PSG opened the doors for his transfer at a tune of €150 million.

The outlet reported that it is possible to close the deal even with such a high figure involved.

PSG is now ready to close the transfer deal when the opportunity presents itself.

Interestingly, PSG is not eyeing replacing Mbappe with Cristiano Ronaldo as rumor had it over the weekend.

The Parisians are eyeing Brazilian star Richarlison currently playing for Everton as a striker.

Neymar offered the Everton striker the spot. All factors considered, it makes it easy for the Brazilian player to adapt to new life in France courtesy of Neymar.

Richarlison’s football career is on an upward trajectory having played for Copa America and the Olympics.

His home team scooped a gold medal after a grueling game with Spain.

The 24-year-old Everton striker is a right-footed, right-sided forward on the left wing. He is easily adaptable and can play in any position on the attacking line.

Should Mbappe’s transfer deal hit a snag, he will have to shelve his ambition to join Real Madrid.

He could join in the next summer for free.
