Democratic Republic of Congo forward Heritier Makambo has rejoined Yanga SC on a two-year deal as a free agent from Guinea’s Horoya AC Club.
The left-winger, who once scored for Jangwani and became a favourite of the team’s fans, arrived in Guinea in 2019 to join Horoya after scoring 17 goals for Yanga.

Makambo, is set to replace Ghanaian Michael Sarpong, who is linked with a move away from the historic Tanzanian champions after his No. 19 jersey was awarded to Makambo.
Yanga have so far signed two attackers, Makambo and Mayele, improving the offensive line that seemed to falter last season.
