Angola and Seychelles to kick-off Cosafa U-20 Championship

Angola and Seychelles will kick-off the 2019 Cosafa Under-20 Championship in Lusaka, Zambia, starting December 4.

The tournament will be the last of six regional championships under the Cosafa banner in 2019.

The match will be a Group C encounter and will be played at the Nkoloma Stadium.

Also in the opening day at the same venue, there will be two Group A games. First hosts Zambia meet Botswana and later Comoros Islands take on Malawi.

The group games will conclude on December 10, with the semifinals to be played two days later.

In all, there will be 22 games played in 11 days.

December 4, Day 1 fixtures [all at Nkoloma Stadium]
Group C: Angola vs Seychelles
Group A: Comoros Islands vs Malawi
Group A: Zambia vs Botswana

December 5, Day 2 fixtures [all at Sunset Stadium]
Group C: Mozambique vs Eswatini
Group B: Lesotho vs Madagascar
Group B: South Africa vs Mauritius
