12th African Games fixtures schedule announced

The fixtures for the football competition at the 12th African Games in Rabat and Casablanca, Morocco, which takes place in mid-August, was announced on Tuesday.

In the men’s event, South Africa open with a clash against hosts Morocco on August 16 and follow that with a game against Nigeria four days later.

In the women’s tournament, South Africa are scheduled to play Nigeria on August 17 and then, three days later, they are up against Zambia.

Friday, August 16: Morocco vs South Africa; Nigeria vs Burkina Faso
Saturday, August 17: Senegal vs Mali; Burundi vs Ghana
Tuesday, August 20: South Africa vs Nigeria; Burkina Faso vs Morocco

Early Women’s fixtures
Friday, August 16: Morocco vs Algeria; Mali vs Equatorial Guinea
Saturday, August 17: Cameroon vs Zambia; South Africa vs Nigeria
Tuesday, August 20: Algeria vs Mali; Zambia vs South Africa
