Jurgen Klopp Undroppable’s To Start Against Real Madrid

The Champions league quarter finals resumes tonight with all looking set for Jurgen Klopp, Klopp is expected to  use his ‘undroppables’ as he seeks secure a point against Spanish side Real Madrid.

Liverpool is likely to use his similar starting XI that won against Arsenal by 3-0 when they host host Real Madrid in their first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tonight.

Liverpool showcased a better performance yet since the start of the season on Saturday to continue hot streak making it three wins on the bounce in all competitions and tonight they will be looking to face Real with the same morale.

Tonight’s match against Real Madrid at Anfield promises to be a much sterner test, but Klopp can rely on plenty of in-form stars who are undroppable after recent performances.

The last time Liverpool faced Real Madrid were beaten 3-1 by Real in the 2018 Champions League final competition.

Since the 2018 final, Liverpool have won the Champions League, beating Tottenham in the 2019 final, as well as claiming a first English top-flight title in 30 years last season.

They face a Real side who are also their country’s reigning champions and are again in a race for the La Liga title this season, but one Klopp feels his side can hurt.

Alisson has kept three clean sheets in his last three matches and will retain his place in goal.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to marshal a backline containing Andrew Robertson, Ozan Kabak, Nate Phillips and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who produced a man-of-the match display at the Emirates.

The right-back has come in for his fair share of criticism this season but silenced the doubters with an assist and an assured defensive performance in north London.

Klopp is expected to make a significant change in midfield, with Georgino Wijnaldum replacing James Milner in the left side of a three.

Wijnaldum will partner Fabinho and Thiago as Liverpool attempt to stifle a Real Madrid midfield which contains the like of Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

Although both sides have wonderful attacking talents, it’s the battle in the middle of the park which could go a long way to deciding the fate of the first-leg at Anfield.

Two of Liverpool’s new fab four made it onto the scoresheet against Arsenal, leaving Klopp with a difficult decision to make tonight.
