David Ancelloti is a former Italian professional footballer who currently works as an assistant manager for Real Madrid, following his father’s footsteps, who is currently the manager of Real Madrid.

Growing up surrounded by the world of football with his father’s career, it was certain that he would gravitate towards the sport and started as a midfielder for AC Milan’s youth teams before a loan spell at Borgomanero and a permanent transfer.

At the age of 22, he retired from professional football and pursued a degree in Sports Science, in preparation for his management job. After graduating, he was appointed as a fitness coach at Paris Saint-Germain where his father was the manager at that time.

While working alongside his father, he gained valuable insights, and Davide was determined to make his mark in the coaching world. His father then moved to Real Madrid and Davide followed him, transitioning to an assistant working alongside the club’s fitness coach.

His dedication and commitment paid off, and he received his UEFA A coaching license with top marks, eventually earning the role of an assistant manager to his father at Bayern Munich in Germany.

This promotion demonstrated his growing reputation and the recognition of his skills within the coaching community, then to Italy together as a duo. His father received a red card and subsequent touchline ban during a match and this gave Davide a taste of first-team coaching.
