Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, was angry after his team drew with Brighton on Wednesday night.
His team had more injuries and lost three points with the last kick of the game.
It looks like the German manager is about to give up on the title race. This is after yelling that his team can’t compete against both the pandemic and a relentless fixture schedule.
Both are making it hard for the Blues to compete. Tuchel now says that “everybody” is hurt and that he doesn’t have any more wing-backs after Reece James limped off in the first half.

He was seen leaving Stamford Bridge on crutches.
The England player looked grimacing on the ground and was helped up by medical staff. Tuchel has since confirmed that the defender has a hamstring injury.
He said with Reece’s exit, this isn’t the time to think about Liverpool. His strategy is to find players for this match because all wingbacks are out with injuries.
“Players are coming back from Covid. They are playing. I will always protect my players. We need to digest this and then we will look ahead,” Tuchel said.
On the question of if Chelsea will still compete for the season’s title, Tuchel had this to say.
“How should we be in it? We have seven COVID cases. We have five or six players out for six or more weeks. How should we compete in a title race?
He added that everyone else has a full team and training is ongoing. Thus, in this case, Tuchel would be irrational to think Chelsea could play with the new spike of infections.
If the Premier League’s integrity has been lost because of the different Covid profiles of each team, Tuchel said: ‘This is the reality, this is where we are, and we have to adapt to the situation that we are in.’
‘I worked very hard to win at home at Brighton. The physicality, intensity, and number of minutes I can expect from my players aren’t clear to me at this point. Because we have never done something like this, no one knows. We play around and see what we can do.
He promised to protect his team and hopes to play better but needs the whole team to excel.

Already, Reece is out with a hamstring injury while Andreas Christensen also has a back injury.
If Ben Chilwell isn’t ready to play for the rest of the season, that’s a big problem for the Blues. Andy Townsend, a former Chelsea captain, said Chilwell was hurting and is a big deal for Chelsea.
Chelsea has a tough time of it because they have to play title rivals, Liverpool, in just four days, which is bad.
There are too many games for the Blues manager to fit in, and this is hurting his team. Covid infections are on a new high among Chelsea players and everyone has to deal with the unknown.
As a result, there is a lot of doubt among players.
